Crochet Black Lalaloopsy Hat

Crochet Lalaloopsy Hat

Pattern:

Chain 4, Sl-st to the first ch to make a loop.

Round 1: Ch3, 12 dc into the loop. Sl-st to the top of ch3.

Round 2: Ch3, dc in the same st as ch3, 2dc in each st around. Sl-st to the top of ch3.

Round 3: Ch3, dc in the same st as ch3, *dc in the next st, 2dc into the next st. Repeat * around. Sl-st to the top of ch3.

Round 4: Ch3, dc in the same st as ch3, *dc in the next 2 sts, 2dc into the next st. Repeat * around. Sl-st to the top of ch3.

Round 5: Ch3, dc in the same st as ch3, *dc in the next 3 sts, 2dc into the next st. Repeat * around. Sl-st to the top of ch3.

Round 6: Ch3, dc in the same st as ch3, *dc in the next 4 sts, 2dc into the next st. Repeat * around. Sl-st to the top of ch3.

Round 7: Ch3, dc in the same st as ch3, *dc in the next 5 sts, 2dc into the next st. Repeat * around. Sl-st to the top of ch3.

Round 8: Ch3, dc in the same st as ch3, *dc in the next 6 sts, 2dc into the next st. Repeat * around. Sl-st to the top of ch3.

Round 9: Ch3, dc in the same st as ch3, *dc in the next 7 sts, 2dc into the next st. Repeat * around. Sl-st to the top of ch3.

Round 10: Ch3, dc in each st around. Repeat * around. Sl-st to the top of ch3.

Round 11: Ch3, dc in each st around. Repeat * around. Sl-st to the top of ch3.

Round 12: Ch3, dc in each st around. Repeat * around. Sl-st to the top of ch3. Fastened off.

Using beige yarn, attached to the st where you fastened off the first color.

Round 13-21. Repeat Round 11

Round 22. Ch2, hdc in each st around. Sl-st to the top of ch2. Fasten off.

Yellow Crochet Lalaloopsy Hat

For the curly hair:

Use the same yarn as the crown. Make 2 pieces.

Strand 1: Ch70, 2dc on the 3^rd chain from the hook. 3dc in each ch across. Sl-st to the ch1.

Strand 2: Ch70, 2dc on the 3^rd chain from the hook. 3dc in each ch across. Sl-st to the ch1.

Strand 3: Ch70, 2dc on the 3^rd chain from the hook. 3dc in each ch across. Sl-st to the ch1. Fasten off.

Sew on left and right side of round 3

For the eyes:

Use a large-sized black button for the eyes.

For the blush:

Use darker shade of pink. Make 2 pieces.

Ch4, make 10 dc in first chain. Fasten off. Sew one in each cheek.

Using black yarn in creating lips.

Note:

For a larger size: You can increase the number of dc in * after round 9 until you arrived the desired hat/head circumference size before doing round 10.

For a smaller size: Once you reach the desired head circumference you may skip some rounds then proceed to round 10.

Pink Crochet Lalaloopsy Hat

Our break from crocheting end too soon because we can't help but accept orders before the 2nd week of January as scheduled. We are not used to not crocheting at night so I told Daddy why not accept few orders and worked on it. So let me share our first MTO for 2014.

Corchet Mickey and Minnie Mouse hats, chucks and ugg boots

As usual, Daddy A made the two hats while I made the chucks and the sole and top toe of the ugg boots. Daddy finished the strap of the ugg boots and do the anchor design as requested by my lovely client.

All the sleepless nights are worth it when you know your client is happy and satisfied with our works. And here's the proof.

Looking at the photo, I told Daddy A that the hats fit the two adorable babies well. Parang sinukat talaga.

I am looking forward to working with more Moms, and even Dads, in the next days. MTOs keep on coming and I'm always thankful with the trust our clients are giving us.

The Final MTO for 2013!

As promised, here's the final MTO that we have just finished!

Crochet Minion Hats and Ugg Boots

Let's take a look at each piece/pair. This is the first time I made an Ugg Boots. I'll try my best to post the pattern I made for this one.

For this little girl's Minion hat, I made the beanie then Daddy made the earflaps and the embellishments.

Daddy Allan, made the two hats above. I must say he's an expert when it comes with plain hats and hats with earflaps.

Finally, we can really take a break and rest after a year of non-stop crocheting. We are so blessed that many are trusting us to make their babies' and children's accessories. And guessed what? Ordering of MTO is still closed but we have already 3 batches of MTOs for January. Praise God!

Two Down, One More To Go!

After almost a month of working all night, finally done with 2 of the last three MTO batches. This is with the combine Mommy and Daddy crocheting effort!

Here's the 3rd to the last batch.

Crochet light pink doll booties with flower, light pink doll booties with ribbon bow, red ladybug doll booties and strawberry cake flower gladiator sandals.

I did the three doll booties above, while Daddy did the sandals. Here's another set from the 3rd to the batch.

Daddy did the two boots, the gladiator sandals and the open-toe booties, and the rest are my creations. And if you think we are done with the third batch, no we are not. Here are the 2 hat sets.

Honestly, I am not good with making hats. I find it difficult to estimate the head circumference size.

Now, let me share the 2nd to the last 3 batches. All crochet hats made by Daddy Allan.

Crochet Hello Kitty Hat, Minion, owl and Lalaloopsy hats

I can breathe now since we are down to the last batch that needs to be done before December 21. After that, we can relax after a year of crocheting. We'll accept orders most probably by the second week of January next year. Sounds like a too long vacation no? But actually, we will dedicate this crochet break to house arranging and painting, more family bonding, Christmas and New Years celebration (of course), and the new project that's long overdue.

So that's it. I'll post the last final batch after once done. I am so excited for the break and I can sleep much longer (hoping our son will let us to =))

Pretty Crochet Diaper Cover and Headband Sets

If you love my first crochet diaper cover, I am sure you will also love these two diaper covers I just made.

Crochet Poinsettia Headband

I know you are waiting for a free pattern. Daddy Allan made this beautiful headband, which I called Poinsettia headband because of its color combination.

Looks very Christmas right?

This is just easy to do.

You will need:

3-ply acrylic yarn (red & green)

5.0 mm hook

How to do it:

Band (green yarn)

Ch8. hdc in the 3rd ch from the hook. Hdc until last ch. Ch2, turn, hdc in each st. Continue crocheting row after row until you reached the desired length.

If you want the band to be adjustable, make a loop after the last row.

Ch6, sl st in the opposite side. Fasten off and weave all ends. Sew 2-3 buttons to the band that is 1-inch apart. So in case your baby girl grows a little, she can still wear the headband.

Big Flower (red yarn)

Ch5. Sl st into the first ch to form a ring. Ch1. Make 10 sc into the ring. Join with sl st to Ch1.

Ch1. Make 2sc in each st. Join with sl st to Ch1.

[Ch20. sc in same st. Ch20. sc in next st.]* Repeat this around.

Fasten off and weave all ends.

Small Flower (gree yarn)

Ch5. Sl st into the first ch to form a ring. Ch1. Make 10 sc into the ring. Join with sl st to Ch1.

[Ch16. sc in next st.]* Repeat this around.

Fasten off and weave all ends.

To make the flowers flat, you may use an iron or steam. Arrange or blocked them into a foam board using pin. Then gently press your iron over them.

Sew a red button to the band, then attached the two flowers just like the photo above.

That easy right?

Crochet Hello Kitty Hat

This time, I will share our crochet hats. I already mentioned before that my husband is in charge of the hats and I am in charge of the booties, sandals and headbands. Yes, you read it right, MY HUSBAND. He is crocheting and blogging too :)

And one of our best seller crochet hats is the Hello Kitty hat.

My husband made all those three hats. Cute right?

Crochet Converse Booties

Crochet Converse Booties is one of our best sellers. I already made 8 pairs of converse booties.

This is the very first converse booties I made. And since it was the first, it is not that perfect (for me).

Next is the moss green booties. I already made 3 pairs of it. Much better than the black above :)

Then the blue and red converse booties. I made 2 pairs of each color already. This looks almost perfect, that's why practice makes perfect really makes sense. Haha.

And, oh I will make blue and red booties for my Kumare. So many deadlines to beat!

Crochet Braided Strap Doll Booties

Hello guys! Sorry for not posting much here. I have been busy with my other blog and I just got my own domain. Yey!

Anyway, I made a cute pair of doll booties with braided strap and a flower.

You will need:

Acrylic yarn (Fuchsia Pink, Black, Off-white)

Hook (6/10)

Size of booties made - 4 1/2 inches

Here's how to do it:

Booties

R1. CH14. 2DC in the 3rd chain from hook. DC in next 10 sts. 8DC in the last st. Working in the opposite side, DC in the next 10 sts. 3DC in the last st (same st that you have 2DC). Join with SL ST on top of CH2. (33 sts)

R2. CH2, DC in the same st as CH2, 2DC in the next 2 sts (6 DC). DC in the next 10 sts, 2 DC in the next 8 sts. DC in the next 12 sts, # DC in the same st as CH2 (DC). Sl st to the top of CH2 (46 sts)

R3-5. CH1, sc in the same st as CH1, sc around unti the last st. Sl st to the top of CH1. (46 sts)

R6. CH2, DC in the same st as CH2, DC around until the last st. Sl st to the top of CH2. (46 sts)

R7. Ch2, DC in the same st as CH2, DC in the next 15 sts, skip 2 sts, DC in the next 10 sts, skip 2 sts, DC in the next 16 sts. Sl st to the top of Ch2. (42 sts)

R8. CH1, sc in the same st as CH1. SC in the next 12 sts, DC2tog 8x, sc in the next 12 sts, Sl st to the top of CH1. (34 sts)

R9. CH1 (working in front loop only), sc around. Sl st to top of CH1. (34 sts)

Turn the booties inside out.

Strap

Left. Count 7 sts from the center back towards the right side. [CH16, sc in the 2nd CH from the hook down. Sl st next st. CH16, sc in the 2nd CH from the hook down. Sl st next st. CH16, sc in the 2nd CH from the hook down. Sl st next st.]* Fasten off. Braid. Attached same yarn at left end of the strap after braiding and CH5, sl st to the other end side.

Right. Count 9 sts from the center back towards the left side. Repeat * Fasten off. Braid. Attached same yarn at right end of the strap after braiding and CH5, sl st to the other end side.

Front Ruffles

Using a new yarn (off- white)

Count 5 sts from the center front. (CH2, 3DC next st, CH2, sl st next st) 4x. Fasten off.

Flower (7 petals)

Using the off white yarn.

Make a magic ring. CH2. Make 13 HDC into the ring, sl st to the top of CH2. (CH3, 2 TC in the next st, CH3, sl st next st) 7x. Sl st to the top of CH3.

Attached the flower to the booties just like in the photo.

Crochet Baby Booties

As promise, here's how to do it.

You will need:

Acrylic yarn of your choice of color

Hook (5/10)

Abbreviations:

ch - chain
dc - double crochet
sl st - slip stitch
sp – space

yo - yarn over

Special Stitches

dc2tog – *Yo, insert hook in next st, yo and pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 loops on hook* x 2, yo, pull through all 3 loops on hook.

hdc2tog – *Yo, insert hook in next st, yo and pull up a loop* x 2, yo, pull through all 5 loops on hook.

Sole of shoe

Rnd 1. Ch 11, hdc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next 8 ch, 3hdc in last ch
Working along opposite side of row just worked, hdc in next 8ch, 2 hdc in last ch, al st into 1st hdc ( 22 sts)

Rnd 2. Ch 2 (counts as a st here and throughout) hdc in same st as joining hdc in next 8 sts, 2 hdc next 3st, hdc in next 8 sts, 2 hdc in each of next 3, hdc to last 2 st, 2 hdc in each, sl st to top of ch2

Rnd 3. Ch 2, hdc in same st as joining, 2 hdc in next st, hdc in next 8 sts, 2hdc in each of next 6sts, hdc in next sts, 2hdc in each of last 2 sts, sl st to ch2

Upper Shoe

Rnd 4. Ch 2, hdc in each st around, sl st to ch-2

Rnd 5. Ch 2, hdc in next 10 sts, dc2tog 8 times, hdc in remaining sts, sl st to ch2

Rnd6: ch2, hdc in next 10 sts, hdc2tog, 5 times, hdc in last remaining sts sl st to ch2

Fasten off and weave in ends

For the 5-Petal Flower

Rnd 1: Ch 5, join into a ring w/sl st in 1st ch.

Rnd 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), work 9dc in ring, join to top of ch w/sl st -- 10 sts.

Rnd 3: **Ch 2, work 3dc in next st, ch 2, sl st in next st

**do this five times.

Fasten off.

Using a yarn needle, stitch these flowers to the booties.

You can add embellishments by putting buttons or pearls at the center of the flower.
