Crochet Hello Kitty Face Headband

Hi guys! I have been very with work, family and my online shop that's why I failed to write posts here. I actually have so many patterns to share with you but like what I have said, I have no time.

Hey, but I will make up with you and here's every one's favorite Hello Kitty!

Cute right? I dearly love Hello Kitty so I searched for a crochet pattern to make a headband. I have found a video here. I just watch it and write down the pattern. I hope I get it right but I made a nice anyway, haha.

You will need:

For the right ear:
Sl st just below the end of the last sl st. ch1. sc2tog 2x, sc in the next st. ch1, turn, sc2tog next st. sl st.

For the left ear:
From the right ear, count 4 sts, sl st. ch1, sc in the same st, sc2tog 2x. ch1, turn, sc2tog next st. sl st.

That's it! You can watch the video for much easier instructions. Please correct me if there's something wrong with what I have written.

I just make an edging using red yarn and just sc around. I follow this track here:

You may use felt cloth for the eyes and nose. I crochet mine.

For the eyes and nose, here's what I have done: ch5, sc in the 4th ch from the hook, sl st in the last st.

For the mustache, I just insert black yarn like in the photo. I glue the ends so it won't slip. The end back is a knot and make sure it will not go through the yarn.

You may make a crochet ribbon two. I just attached a red ribbon and tied in the middle. then finally, I attached a garter for the band or you may crochet chains also. I put felt at the back by the way.

Tada!!! Here's our finished product!

Please visit my Momaye's Shoppe for more details on how to get one, that if you don't want to make your own. :)
